Before my first Ayahuasca experience my fears related to losing my sense of self and becoming a forest dwelling hippie, weaving baskets by the river. I thought 'I quite like my life so I am not after any radical change'.

Following the experience, these thoughts are almost laughable. They temporarily clear away the noise to show you the truth of who you are. To show the temporal nature of this. To show you which micro-thoughts you were ignoring are relevant to you.

They do not demand a lifestyle change, if your lifestyle permits you to express you sense of truth against this backdrop. They do not demand you become atheist, egalitarian, or religious, but only what works for you for this period.

When we think we have an idea of the love of god, conniving nature of the devil, the true power of consciousness or metaphysics, we are reminded about how small we are thinking in our conceptions. There is deeper to burrow down the rabbit hole and as long as you can stay true to yourself, the glory of god will be revealed in the most novel yet simple ways.
